LOST VALLEY LUAU MTB RACE

APRIL 19TH, 2026
REGISTRATION IS OPEN

Lost Valley Luau is raced on the Lost Valley Trail in Defiance, MO. This 11-ish mile loop has it all: flowing single track, technical root & rock formations, and some relentless double track. The race is run counter-clockwise, forcing racers to climb up the double track and the descend on the single track.

The surface of the Lost Valley Trail single track, even in the flowing sections, is extremely rocky, and as such the trail is among the fastest draining trails in the area. However, don’t be fooled, the early Spring date often brings a twist to trail conditions (prepare for the worst, hope for the best) as the Race will be run
rain or shine.

New in 2025, and staying around for the 2026 race; we will start/finish at the Lost Valley Lower Lot Gate, and use the double track as a connector to the Main Lost Valley Loop.
This lengthens each lap to closer to 12 miles long, and every lap after completing the Beaver Time Section, participants will follow the double track back to the Start/Finish line to start their next lap.

New for 2026, the Race will now have 3 distance options:
Race 1 Lap
Race 2 Laps
or if you are feeling extra spicy...
Race 3 Laps

Timing by best timers in the business MSE Racing.
